Body Sculpting
Cavitation: How It Works
Ultrasonic cavitation uses low-frequency ultrasound energy delivered through the skin to target the subcutaneous fat layer. The sound waves create mechanical pressure within the tissue, which can disrupt the structure of fat cells. The body then naturally processes the cellular contents through its normal metabolic and elimination pathways. Cavitation is designed to help improve the appearance of localized areas of stubborn fat and enhance body contours—not to treat obesity or replace healthy weight management. During treatment, a conductive gel is applied and the handpiece is moved continuously over the treatment area. Most clients describe cavitation as comfortable, with a gentle warming sensation and sometimes a mild buzzing, tingling, or high-pitched sound that may be noticeable during treatment.
Radio Frequency (RF):
How It Works
Radio frequency uses controlled electromagnetic energy to gently heat the deeper layers of the skin and underlying tissue. This controlled thermal energy can stimulate collagen remodeling and encourage the production of new collagen and elastin, helping improve the appearance of skin firmness, smoothness, and elasticity. RF can also create a temporary increase in circulation and tissue temperature, making it a valuable component of a comprehensive body-contouring treatment. During treatment, the RF handpiece is continuously moved over the skin to create a comfortable, even warming sensation while maintaining the appropriate treatment temperature.
What Can I Expect?
Body sculpting is a progressive process, and results develop gradually rather than appearing from a single treatment. Each session builds upon the previous one, with changes in the appearance and contour of the treated area becoming more noticeable over time. Your treatment plan and frequency will be customized based on your individual goals, treatment area, body composition, and response to treatment. Results vary from person to person, and factors such as age, genetics, lifestyle, skin condition, and body composition can influence your outcome. Maintaining a healthy diet, regular exercise, adequate hydration, and a stable body weight can help support and maintain your results. Body sculpting is intended to enhance your natural contours and improve the appearance of targeted areas, not to replace healthy nutrition, exercise, or overall weight management.
